BARNET: Man charged with Islington murder
A man has been charged with the murder of an East Finchley resident.
Offices and ambulance services were called to a fight in Havelock Street at around 4.30pm on Friday, where they found Christopher Paul Winship, 36, lying injured in the road.
He was taken to Royal London Hospital, but pronounced dead an hour later.
Eddie Reid, 34, of West Green Road, Haringey, has been charged with murder.
Next of kin have been informed.
A post mortem gave cause of death as a single stab wound.
