A conservation charity has launched a campaign to help improve the borough’s wildlife habitats.
The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) charity will be carrying out a range of environmental projects this month and next year.
BTCV volunteers have already removed brambles from Martin’s Hill in Bromley to help the borough's namesake, the broom shrub.
BTCV's community project officer Warren Young said: “Over the coming months BTCV's biodiversity action team will be carrying out a range of activities in Bromley, from clearing away unwanted scrub, building footpaths and steps to general habitat management."
Volunteers meet every Thursday in Elmfield Road, Bromley, at 10am.
If you are interested in helping the team call Warren Young on 07740 899 614.
