A Southall man appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a woman on a London street.
Unemployed Vikram Jit Singh, 26, of Ruskin Road, appeared at the Old Bailey accused with knifing Gemma Dorman to death in the street in August.
The 23-year-old's body was found in the Lavender Hill area of Battersea at around 9.20pm by officers, and a post mortem revealed she died of stab wounds.
Mr Singh was remanded in custody to appear again at The Old Bailey.
