HOMES across Leyton were this morning raided by police and class A drugs seized.
Five residential properties were searched as part of co-ordinated raids from 6am, and police seized heroin, crack cocaine, drug-related paraphernalia, cash and a silencer.
A total of 20 people were arrested in connection with the raids and remain in custody.
Police have not yet revealed the addresses of the raided homes.
FIVE people have now been charged with offences following the raids.
Danny Varma, 21, of Bromley Road, Leyton, Zelton Harper, 24, of Leyton Green Road, Jarrell Grant, 19, of Walnut Road, Leyton, and a 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons have all been charged with supplying class A drugs.
Dawn Fairweather, 43, of High Road, Leyton, has been charged with immigration offences.
