A campaign to inspire people to use public transport over car travel kicks off with a book giveaway at Waterloo and Liverpool Street stations.
Commuters can pick up an 80-page sampler of the bestseller One Day by David Nicholls from 7am on July 15th, with 50,000 copies being thrust into the hands of Londoners as they head to work.
Highlighting the time that can be wasted sitting in traffic jams, green lifestyle charity Global Cool will be giving away more titles throughout July and August as part of their 'Do It In Public' campaign.
If you feel the urge, you can review the book on Twitter by using the #BooksInPublic hash tag.
