THE first of a new fleet of air conditioned trains has been launched on the Metropolitan Line.
The train began its service at Wembley Park Station and is the first of 191 new trains which will cover 40 per cent of the Tube network.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson was joined by Transport Commissioner Peter Hendy and London Underground chief operating officer Howard Collins for the launch.
