A 100-year-old woman staying in West Norwood has gone missing while on a trip with her daughter.
Lesitetuta Nakitto, who was born in 1906, was last seen at a bus stop in Park Lane near Hyde Park on Sunday at about 8.30pm.
She had been trying to get on the 148 bus to Camberwell, but it was too busy and she was left behind.
Her daughter got off at the following stop but when she returned to where her mum had been left she could not find her.
Mrs Nakitto who lives in Kampala, Uganda, had been staying with her daughter in Lakeview Road since May.
She did not have a bus pass or cash with her and cannot speak English, although she does speak Ugandan, Swahili and German.
Police described her as black, between 5ft and 5ft 7in, with collar length black Afro hair. She had brown eyes, and a wrinkled complexion.
She was last seen wearing a blue blouse with a red floral skirt.
