Found: Lesitetuta Nakitto who went missing has been found in Tooting
A 100-year-old woman who had gone missing while on a trip with her daughter has been found.
Lesitetuta Nakitto who had been staying in West Norwood disappeared after she failed to follow her daughter onto the 148 bus to Camberwell in Park Lane near Hyde Park on Sunday at about 8.30pm.
Mrs Nakitto who lives in Kampala, Uganda, had been staying with her daughter in Lakeview Road since May.
Her family were very worried about her as she did not have a bus pass or cash with her and cannot speak English, although she does speak Ugandan, Swahili and German.Yesterday evening police explained that she had been found in Tooting.
