POLICE investigating the murder of a Kenton man have made a renewed appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Jason Greene, 29, was shot on July 18 as he picked up his two children from an address in Bowater Road, Chalk Hill, Wembley.

His son and daughter were in the car with him in his car when he was murdered.

Two burned out cars connected to the shooting were later found near the Welsh Harp, off Cool Oak Lane in Kingsbury.

Police are looking for the driver of a small white van which was spotted in the area between 8am and 9am that day.

Detective Inspector Tony Barker from Operation Trident, the Scotland Yard squad that tackles black-on-black crime, said: "Are you the driver of this van?

"If so, then please contact us.

"We want to know if you saw or heard anything in that area.

"If you are not the driver of the van, do you know who the driver of the van is?

"You may be able to provide information that is important to our investigation.

"Your call will be treated in the strictest confidence."

Since the murder, six men have been arrested and one has been charged.
