The weather may start getting colder as autumn approaches, but the music scene is set to be hot, hot, hot! Here are a few of the biggest and best new releases to look out for over the next couple of months
Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds
Released on September 11, Trousersnake's next solo album sees production by Timbaland and Justin, and collaborations with will.i.am, Snoop Dogg and Nelly Furtado. As taster single, SexyBack, shows, Justin's becoming more experimental.
Beyonce - B'Day Girl
Beyonce's second album features guests like Jay-Z (who came out of retirement specially), T.I, and Ne-Yo. Released on September 4, her 25th birthday, the bootylicious star has written, arranged and co-produced all the songs on the album.
Robbie Williams - Rudebox 1974
Collaborations with Pet Shop Boys and William Orbit make 1974 (out on October 2) set to be one of his most exciting and talked-about albums yet, with lead single Rudebox already dividing the nation with its rap verses and Sly & Robbie sample.
Fergie - The Dutchess
Black Eyed Peas' Fergie's solo debut, available from September 19, includes three collaborations with fellow bandmate will.i.am, Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger and Jason Mraz. There's sure to be lots of danceable beats and crazy lyrics.
Oasis - Stop The Clocks
Oasis' Definitive Collection features their greatest hits, chosen by themselves, including Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. There are also two new hits in the November 20 compilation.
Basement Jaxx - Crazy Itch Radio
Crazy Itch Radio will certainly scratch the spot from September 4, with Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton serving up more of their signature kaleidoscopic pop. Expect instant hits of Hush Boy, Hey You and Run 4 Cover.
Sugababes - Overloaded: The Singles Collection
The most successful girl band since The Supremes, Sugababes' greatest hits is out on November 13. There's no track listing as yet, but you can expect chart-toppers such as Freak Like Me, Round Round, Hole In The Head and Push The Button.
Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah
Everyone's favourite camp-as-Christmas glam-rocking Americans - Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and co - return with a follow-up album on September 18, which includes the Elton John collaboration, I Don't Feel Like Dancing.
Matt Willis - Matt Willis
Since Busted called it a day, Matt's written and recorded in glam places like Brussels and Southend. His debut album, out on November 13, is full of monster tracks, with a sound he accurately describes as 'stadium pop'.
The Killers - Sam's Town
Named after a casino in their hometown of Las Vegas, Sam's Town marks the return of the chart-topping synth-rockers. Having conquered the charts the world over with their debut Hot Fuss, the band's next offering is out on October 2.
