A Vietnamese man was stabbed to death after being chased by up to five men down a busy shopping street in east London.
Thanh Minh Nguyen, 43, was attacked in Mare Street, Hackney, in broad daylight last Thursday.
Four men were seen running away from the murder scene in front of a Methodist Church at around 4pm - two towards St Thomas Square, and the other pair down London Lane.
Minutes later a silver Audi A4 sped out of the square, while a dark saloon car was driven erratically out of London Lane.
Mr Nguyen died shortly after being rushed to Homerton Hospital.
Police urged anyone who saw the men or the cars to call 020 8345 3715.
