A murder inquiry has been launched after a man injured during an incident outside a Norbury restaurant died.
Kashmir Singh Bedesha, 54, from South Norwood, collapsed outside the Mirch Masala restaurant on July 23.
Police were flagged down by a member of the public just before 11.30pm where they found Mr Bedesha on the pavement.
He was suffering from head injuries and shortly afterwards stopped breathing.
He died last Thursday in Mayday Hospital, three weeks after the attack.
Mr Bedesha was the proprietor of JT Wine Store in Portland Road, South Norwood.
A family member said they had been left shocked and that they were unsure of the circumstances surrounding Kashmir's death.
Following information from witnesses, police officers entered the restaurant on the night of the incident and arrested three men on suspicion of GBH.
