A MAN died at Leyton underground station when he was hit by a Central line train on Thursday, August 24.
British Transport Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
The Tube was suspended for two hours between Hainault, Woodford and Liverpool Street after Transport for London received reports of a person under a train heading westbound from Leyton.
The man was in his mid-30's and not a British national. He is believed to have jumped in front of the train, and was confirmed dead by emergency services at the scene.
Central Line trains restarted at around 9.30pm, and Leyton Station opened around half-an-hour later after police had completed the necessary inspections.
