COCAINE worth more than £1m has been seized during a major police operation.
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in Beckenham and Bromley, following the Met operation on August 30.
Three men, aged 45, 26 and 20, and a 31-year-old woman were taken to a south London police station where they remain in custody.
Detectives recovered the cocaine during searches of three addresses and a garage in the area.
Two loaded firearms, a silencer, £95,000 in cash and a press used for the preparation of cocaine and mixing agents were also discovered.
Detective Superintendent Peter South, the head of the Projects Team, which is part of the Specialist Crime Directorate, said: "Undoubtedly this operation will have a significant impact in disrupting the supply of cocaine to our communities, particularly in south London.
"It is an example of our continuing efforts to tackle organised criminal networks involved in the supply of cocaine and associated gun crime.
"Not only have we taken a large quantity of drugs off the streets of London but also recovered two loaded firearms and a silencer."
