Kingston Carnival will be back in the town centre this weekend, with a parade, music and more.
The main event on Sunday kicks off with a parade at 10.30am which will light up the streets from Clarence Street to the Guildhall, where festivities are due to be officially opened on the main stage.
Acts including Caribbean dance troupes, percussion and Afro-Cuban salsa promise to make it one not to miss, even if Notting Hill has tired you out.
The carnival ends with the launch of local activities to mark London Week of Peace.
In Kingston the police, council, Kingston Racial Equality Council and voluntary organisations will hold events based around community cohesion and safety.
