The Viva Italia Show comes to the National Hall, Olympia, London from September 22-24 at the National Hall, Olympia, offering visitors the opportunity to escape to this beautiful Mediterranean country.
Italy attracts over 2.6 million visitors from the UK every year, proving that the love affair with, and enduring passion for all things Italian is as strong as ever.
Viva Italia is a lifestyle show, offering visitors truly Italian experiences and celebrating the aspects that makes Italy such an enchanting destination. It promises to be a celebration of all things Italian, with areas dedicated to food and wine, style and culture, arts and crafts, travel, property and tourism, cinema, motors and classical music - all under one roof.
Viva Italia is a day out for all the family, with lots of entertainment and plenty to see and do. There are language lessons, art lectures, opera, theatre and fashion shows.
There will be more than 25 wine seminars, talks and tasting sessions under the supervision of Livio Italiani, head of the Italian Association of Sommeliers in the UK and general manager of Marco Pierre White's Luciano restaurant.
The Lagostina sponsored cookery theatre will be presenting and sampling traditional Italian dishes including simple yet classic, cook at home pastas, together with more regional favourites. It will be hosted by Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi, stars of the popular BBC 2 series - Return to Tuscany.
The Croydon Guardian has the book of the series, an apron and a pair of tickets to the show to give away and nine runners-up prizes of pairs of tickets to Viva Italia.
