DNA tests to prove whether a 48-year-old woman is the "stolen" daughter of a New Cross grandmother, have been postponed.
Barbara Raymond-Waul was due to undergo tests yesterday with the woman at a Hammersmith clinic.
But unforeseen circumstances have led to the women postponing the visit.
Mother-of-10 Mrs Raymond-Waul claims her daughter was stolen from her shortly after she gave birth to twins at Lambeth Hospital on June 28, 1958.
News Shopper published her amazing story in May - triggering a chain of events which led to the woman, who wants to remain anonymous, coming forward.
After an emotional meeting took place last month they decided to have the DNA testing to find the truth.
Mrs Raymond-Waul, 70, of Batavia Road, New Cross, says she hopes the tests can be re-scheduled.
