AS far as Missy E goes, this 17-track effort is a stonewall banker.
Freed from the flab that can weigh her studio albums down, you get all the biggies - including the Basement Jaxx remix of 4 My People which renders an otherwise ordinary tune as a whistle-blowin' house anthem.
Familiarity seems to work in favour of Missy's biggest hits - particularly when Get Ur Freak On swings its hips in your face.
Lose Control all but draws you to the floor; while her breakthrough 45, The Rain, is every bit as dramatic as you may (or may not) remember. .
As the BIC clears its decks for Missy's arrival on October 7, Respect Me is the reason she gets away with those much-publicised diva demands on her rider.
Go girl!
