After being stopped 35 times by Russian police and being flashed at by a Chinese truck driver, the tuk-tuk two have returned triumphant to the shores of the UK.
Jo Huxter, 27, who grew up in Thames Ditton and Antonia Bollingbroke-Kent, 27, from Norfolk, arrived in Brighton on Sunday. It was the culmination of a 12,000-mile challenge to drive their three-wheeled vehicle all the way from Bangkok.
Their adventure raised more than £25,000 for the mental health charity, Mind, and has landed them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest journey on three wheels.
The women left the British Embassy in Bangkok on May 20 in their pink tuk-tuk, lovingly named Ting Tong after the Little Britain character.
The pair then travelled through Thailand, Laos, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium and France before finally arriving in England.
The highlights of the trip for them were driving along the Great Wall of China and experiencing people's varied reactions to their strange vehicle.
"Our tuk tuk was described as an ant, a tractor, an apparition, and also beautiful many, many times," said Jo.
"We were caught up in a Chinese earthquake, and had to sleep in Ting Tong for the night. We also discovered we couldn't travel along the Chinese expressways, meaning we had to take the 'scenic route' for the next 32 days," she said.
