A CARER who suffers from depression has gone missing, leaving his disabled wife on her own.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Steven Paul Barrett, 59, from Perivale, who disappeared on Sunday, September 10.
His relatives last saw Paul, his preferred forename, at his home at around 12.30pm and 2.45pm.
He is the sole carer for his wife who is disabled.
Relatives said he did not take his medication which will make him "more depressed and agitated" as time goes by.
He also did not take his mobile phone or wallet and has made no contact since he went missing.
It is not known what clothes he is wearing but he is described as white, medium build with slight paunch, fair complexion, greying brown hair, clean-shaven, blue/green eyes and wears glasses.
Paul's family said he is a "very introvert character and enjoys visiting quiet, open spaces".
Police said the 59-year-old regularly visits the Tesco supermarket in Western Avenue.
Anyone who has seen Paul or knows of his whereabouts should contact Ealing Borough Police on 020 8246 1212.
