TWO teenagers have appeared in court after a bus was torched, causing more than £60,000 damage.
The two 16-year-old boys appeared at Dartford Magistrates' Court this afternoon charged with arson.
The teenagers are alleged to have started a fire on the top deck of a number 96 bus.
The bus's top deck was gutted after fire ripped through it in Dartford Road, Dartford, on July 31. The driver had to evacuate passengers as the blaze took hold.
The incident caused £62,700 to the £150,000 bus.
One boy pleaded guilty and will appear for sentencing in Dartford on October 3.
The other pleaded not guilty and will reappear before magistrates on October 24.
