TWO men have been arrested after a sex attack in Gravesend.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 34-year-old woman was attacked in Milton Park yesterday evening.
The woman was walking her dog through the park at 8.30pm when she saw two men sitting near to the entrance in Khartoum Place.
She started talking to the men, accepted a can of beer from them and sat down with them to drink the beer.
The victim got up and walked away and as she walked across the park she was grabbed from behind and seriously assaulted.
The woman screamed, alerting residents who called the police.
The victim received minor injuries.
The offenders were black. One man was 6ft tall, with thick curly black hair, was clean shaven and with an athletic build.
He was wearing a yellow sports top with three-quarter length sleeves and numbers across the chest and dark coloured trousers.
The second man was 5ft 6in tall with large eyes, of slight build and with tight curly black hair. He was wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Ian Dampier said: "This is a particularly nasty attack, which has left the victim shaken and traumatised.
"Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the victim drinking with the two men or anyone who may have witnessed the subsequent attack."
