A 93-year-old woman was killed after she was hit by a car in Upper Norwood last week.
Elizabeth Sumison, who lived in the area, was hit by a Citroen Xsara in Crown Dale at around 9.35am last Thursday.
She was rushed to King's College Hospital but died later that evening. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
An inquest is expected to be opened at Croydon Coroner's Court shortly and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Police are still appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or those who have any information to call the the collision unit on 020 8285 1574.
