FOLLOWING the enormous success of their The Singles collection, garage pioneers Basement Jaxx return with a concept record.
This is the Brixton group's Sgt. Pepper - an album based around the musings of a working radio station, complete with adverts, interludes and skits - and it works extremely well.
It's ridiculously slick, as you would expect, and there are contributions from Grace Jones and, perhaps surprisingly, David Cassidy to keep the interest up.
Single Hush Boy is a little too similar to Oh My God but, that aside, Crazy Itch Radio is an amusing 14-track journey.
Take Me Back To Your House is another single in the making, On The Train is a welcome change of pace in what is otherwise a frenetic affair, and U R On My Mind rounds everything off in fine style.
