A 14-year-old girl from Chessington has been missing from home since Saturday, September 2.

Police want to hear from anyone who knows or has seen Chloe Baker, after recently losing contact with the missing girl.

Chloe first disappeared in the Tolworth area on Saturday, September 2, but phoned home at 1.45pm that day to tell her family she was coming home.

She never turned up and her family phoned police later that night to report her missing.

She was in contact with relatives and police several times over the week, but police are increasingly concerned after not hearing from her since Saturday.

Her mobile phone is now switched off.

Police Constable Dale Cooch said: "She has gone missing in the past, but we are concerned she has gone missing for such a length of time.

"She spoke to a detective sergeant on Saturday who said she sounded okay, but without seeing her we do not know what her state of mind is.

"We need to try to do anything we can to get her back."

Until communications ceased Chloe refused to say where she was or who she was with.

Police said Chloe was known to visit Tooting, Brixton and other parts of south London.

She is described as English, with brown hair in a ponytail. She has a fair complexion, brown eyes and is 5ft 4ins.

Police are unsure what she was wearing when she disappeared.
