A PERVERTED father and son have admitted downloading more than 20,000 extreme pornographic files.

David Finch, 55, and Michael Finch, 25, of Chastilian Road, Dartford, pleaded guilty to downloading the media including indecent images of children and videos of women having sex with animals.

Dartford Magistrates’ Court heard this morning (March 22) how Mr Finch’s wife of 25 years was ‘rather unimpressed’ following the discovery, made during a police raid at their home in August last year.

The pair admitted they did not discuss what they accessed but David Finch was aware his son had downloaded indecent images.

David Finch, a self-employed mechanic, admitted 16 charges including six of making indecent photographs of children.

The court heard how his computer contained 19,481 indecent images and 302 movies when it was seized.

Of the indecent images, which he downloaded using file-sharing software, more than a thousand were rated at levels four and five, the highest levels of severity.

Darren Crispin, prosecuting, said David Finch admitted he had masturbated to the indecent images of children.

His unemployed son Michael Finch, who lives with his parents, was also discovered with a haul of indecent images and videos.

Wayne Crowhurst, defending, explained “he came across them by accident and looked out of curiosity.”

However, the ex-ICT student went on to download 302 movies and 126 indecent images, including videos of women having sex with dogs and horses.

223 files were rated in the top two levels of severity.

Both admitted the files had been downloaded across a two to three year period.

The pair stood together in the dock to hear their case would be transferred to Crown Court, where judges have tougher sentencing powers.
