Released on March 4th 2022's 'The Batman', a neo-noir adaptaion of the frequently depicted superhero does no shame for Warner Bros, resulting in the creation of a cinematically exillerating experience of the batmans tale, twisted with director Matt Reeves unique use of filmamking elements from 1970's crime dramas, leaving the film with up to $710.5 million as it's world wide total.
From the start, to the end, cinematogphaer Greig Fraser does not fail to assert the trade-mark gloomy atmosphere brought along with films following Batmans tales, with mesmerizing cinematography hued with warm lighting, with Michael Giacchino’s dark symphony for 'The Batman', from his brooding theme for Bruce Wayne to children’s choir for the Riddler, adding a artictially placed score that captures the films dark emotions and atmospheric undercurrents that a film like this needs.
While the plot may feel slow paced at times, with run time reaching up to two hours and 56 minutes, the cutting edge filmmaking makes up for it.
With such success in box set, and the still growing popularity of the film, 'The Batman' can be considered a big win for WarnerBros.
