Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal on a five-year deal, as our paper exclusively revealed.
The Lewisham-born striker has joined the Eagles for an initial £25 million with up to £5 million in add-ons.
After advancing through Arsenal’s academy, Nketiah, 25, made 168 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 38 times.
Nottingham Forest had been in advanced talks with Arsenal over a £30m deal for the forward, but the move collapsed with an agreement unable to be found over personal terms.
