On Saturday November 16th, the Lady Eleanor Holles School (LEH) hosted its annual Christmas Fair once again. Whilst it may be considered by some to be a little too early to start preparation for Christmas, the fair at LEH made it seem like Christmas was already here. Activities ranging from the classic Santa’s Grotto to being able to watch LEH’s very own choir, Holles Singers to sing some amazing carols, the atmosphere could be only described as festive.
The Young Enterprise team of LEH were selling ‘very pretty and cute’ Christmas gift boxes that contained festive gifts, such as chocolate, yankee candles and candy canes. You could even get your nails done if you had fancied it. There was also opportunities to support the bursary fund of LEH by purchasing small gifts such as notebooks and appealing teddy bears.
The fair was on for a couple hours, from 11:30 to 3:00. Many people milled into the school, fascinated by what LEH had to offer. Many people came out with full bags and empty wallets, carry out vacuum cleaners, edible treats, freshly done nails or luxurious jewellery.
The Christmas fair at LEH brings joys to everyone in many different ways, whether you meet an old friend or find your child a gift that will light them up like a fairy light.
