As we all know, at the moment we all need to stay inside and self isolate to help prevent the further spread of COVID-19 this means that we need to find other ways to come together as a community at the same time as staying safe. Global citizen organised a charity live stream called "together at home" this allowed people to all come together and watch support WHO and raise money for charity. This was intended for us to be together at the same time as social distancing ourselves.

On April 18th a six-hour pre-show was streamed online immediately before the television global broadcast, this was hosted through 6 different celebrities. In the pre-show there were appearances from around 70 different groups of people, This included people such as Rita Ora, Charlie puth and finneas.

In the global television broadcast, there were appearances from big celebs right now such as lizzo and Billie Eilish. The TV show was streamed in many different countries as this was trying to bring people from around the world together.

The show raised more than $128 million for health care workers who are battling the disease and helping people who need the help.

This shows people that in times of need there are always going to be people who are there for you and that all the people in the world can come together to show support in times of need. A lot of people believe that once life returns to normal there will be an enhanced idea of community and helping others around you.
