On Saturday 19th November, the Parmiter's Parents' Association hosted the annual Christmas Craft Fair and as usual, it was a hit! Small businesses, charity volunteers, students and their parents came together to show Hertfordshire what Christmas is really about- joy, love and thanksgiving!
One of the highlights was the beautifully arranged Christmas Gift Tombola, where visitors were sure to find an amazing gift for any loved one. Small toys, pricey watches, fun board games and rich face and body pampering products were all on show for anyone who bought tickets! A second treat were the stalls organised by the Enterprise Challenge teams in Parmiter's Lower Sixth Form. Face painting and glitter, henna and Cup Pong were only some of the incredible activities offered by Team Serenity and Team Eclipse, raising money for local charities, Peace Hospice Care and Charlie's Gift.
Overall, the beauty of this annual event lies within the smiles of volunteers, the echo of Christmas bells and music throughout the school site and the true team spirit of all those involved to make it happen. In the words of guest, volunteer and student Dihasya Perera, "It (the Fair) is an amazing atmosphere to start off the Christmas season!"
According to the turnout, many agree!
