If you are a fan of ABBA and their music or are a big special effects enthusiast and ever find yourself in London, add the ABBA Voyage experience to your bucket list! This spectacular 90-minute concert includes 20 songs with no interval, however the cool lights, creative backdrops and the hyper-realistic holograms make the time fly by!

From the very start the crowd is fired up by the realism of the abba holograms and the arrangement of different coloured lights lowered from the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere from the opening song. Throughout the concert the live band plays, the setting changes to fit the atmospheres of the songs, different members of ABBA make hilarious speeches and sing songs full of emotion which can be seen on the big screens surrounding the stage. The concert was attended by a large variety of age groups, with nobody able to resist singing and dancing along.

The staff working at the arena were all extremely friendly, organised, and helpful, getting everybody in their designated areas within 15 minutes. There are also bars for the crowd to enjoy throughout the performance, with the dance booths having their own private ones.

The concert was concluded with a crowd favourite ‘Dancing Queen,’ followed by ‘The Winner Takes It All’ after which the holograms of the aged members of ABBA appear on stage to say their thanks, ending the show on a high note.

Some of the attendees I talked to described the experience as “unreal”, “unbelievable” and “amazing” with Ruby Wilson saying, “I am actually in disbelief about it.” I personally completely agree!

So, if you ever find yourself struggling to find a way to spend your birthday or just want to have a fun time with your friends, make sure to not look past ABBA Voyage.

Useful tips:

Make sure to figure out parking in advance if you travel by car as most is around a 15-minute walk from the arena.

Dress on theme, as many people came in sparkly makeup, nice outfits, and sequin hats! (However, this is not vital as many wore more casual outfits.)

Don't be shy to dance and sing your heart out!
