Watford has plenty to offer, from its high street to beautiful green spaces, not to mention the magic of the Harry Potter studios!

But what does it truly mean to live here?

I spoke with locals, asking them a simple question: What is Watford all about?

Their responses ranged from shopping malls to peaceful parks. Here are some of them:

Cassiobury Park

Many residents said that Cassiobury Park is "the best place to go for a breath of fresh air, especially during the summer".

This park has beautiful gardens, riverside trails, and open fields for outdoor sports and activities.

Locals come here to “relax, connect with nature, and have fun.”

Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter

The Warner Bros. Studio is one of the main attractions of Watford.

Here, you can experience sets from the Harry Potter movies, including the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, Dumbledore’s Office, and the Forbidden Forest.

The tour is perfect for a Harry Potter fan and anyone curious about film production and special effects!

“Warner Bros. Studio is a great place to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of Harry Potter. I’ve been several times, and it still amazes me!” - Vaishnavi Sriram.

Atria Watford: Go-To Spot for Everything

Atria Watford is the town’s shopping and entertainment complex, with a mix of popular high-street brands, and delicious dining options.

Atria has a range of leisure activities, which include bowling at Hollywood Bowl, arcade games, a mini-golf course and more!

“Atria shopping mall is a fantastic way to spend time shopping, playing, and eating.” - Senuli Ratnayake.

"The variety of activities at Atria means you can always find something new to do," says Evonne Shrestha. “Whether it’s shopping, dining, or just hanging out, there’s always something happening.”

Divyashi Patel adds, “I always look forward to going to Atria with my friends during half-term. We love trying out new restaurants and enjoying time at Hollywood Bowl!”

These are just some activities to do in Watford, there is much more!
