Many people today end up asking themselves the question of …
What is important?
Here I will explain to you why I believe engaging yourself in physical activities you enjoy is one of the most important things you must do regularly.
To begin with, physical activity gives us many benefits both physically and mentally.
Engaging in some sort of activity increases better sleep, better stress management, improves mood and limits depression.
By staying active we can guarantee a reduction of health risks. For example, strokes are common for people who have high blood pressures.
Exercise helps us to reduce the chances of having a stroke by keeping your blood vessels and heart in a healthy condition.
Therefore, proving to be immensely important as it is the first step to a long healthy life.
To prove this is correct I will share my personal experience of my involvement in dancing.
I have done this from a young age and it has been a physical activity I look forward to every time.
This sport has enabled me to keep physically healthy yet also maintaining a healthy mental well-being.
Dancing quickly improves my mood, confidence and happiness making it very important.
I have been able to meet many new people and make life long friends that I am able to share this exercise with so we can all share the benefits of physical activity.
A very close friend of mine who I dance with, Daisy Dunn says “It gets rid of everything else on my mind, when i dance it’s just me and those who i’ve made connections with through it”.
Therefore, proving the benefits of sports as it unites people and allows us to relax the mind, making us feel joyous.
Factually, when we exercise we release neurotransmitters called dopamine which is also referred to as the “happy hormone”.
It is released in the brain when we do something we like, such as shopping, playing games and exercise.
Try doing it yourself.
Any physical activity is beneficial whether it is trying something new such as getting involved in a club or going on a walk with your beloved loyal companions.
This should make you feel happy and should not be forced upon yourself.
If I can find my exercise so can you.
