Alien Stage is an amazing and thrilling show that takes the viewer on a journey of emotions through each episode. It is uploaded by Vivinos on Youtube who works alongside QMENG and Studio Lico to produce the animations, and the voice actors of the characters.

The episodes are labelled with a round and a song that the characters in the video sing and its thumbnail is a featured character. There are 6 main characters who are introduced: Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Luka, and Hyuna. There are also mini comics that are released in between the episodes that show the backstory of the characters.

The show's first episode begins with 2 of the main characters, Mizi and Sua, who are singing with each other as they reminisce over their childhood memories in what seems to be a garden wearing white dresses and a collar. However the nostalgic mood soon comes to an end as the scene moves on to show the setting of the world.

After the earth was taken over by aliens, humanity was forced to leave the universe and become pets to the aliens. Aliens believe that the pleasant sound of a human singing, is actually their crying, so they raise them in music specialised kindergardens  to improve their singing skills to take part in the Alien Stage compeitions.

The end of the first episode shows the voting system, where aliens must vote for either Mizi or Sua to win, and move onto the next round. And as they both look at each other for the last time, one of them falls onto the ground after being shot dead. It is then indicated that Alien Stage is a survival show where the participants must sing to move onto the next round and win, or lose their life trying.

The show is truly incredible as the animation is eye ctaching and has great world building. The songs themselves are a work of art, my personal favourite being black sorrow.

Each round has a different dynamic to the one before it, which allows it to cater to all types of music lovers, and make it even more exciting to watch as the viewers wait for the next round. The songs are also covered by the other characters who put a twist to the original as they sing it in their own style.

I have rewatched the episodes many times and heavily recommend it.
