It is particularly important that we as a society learn to share and spread each others cultures.
In this case I feel as though London and the UK in general is a culinary melting pot. That has a countless number of international restaurants.
According to the Custom neon website online search figures show that the most popular cuisines in the UK were Indian and Italian in the year of 2023, both international cuisines.
This shows that the UK as a country is open to trying out various kinds of foods .
However, the country I am focusing on today is Switzerland more specifically the Swiss Bread Bakery in London.
This Bakery is located in Ham, London and sells a multitude of different Swiss cuisines and snacks, such as Fondue, Paprika chips, Flamkuchen and many more.
It was opened in March of 2020 by Andre and Tanja, who had both studied together at Belvoirpark Hotelfachschule.
They have been close friends for 20 years now.
At the beginning of their career’s, they worked together in some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants around the world but then moved to England about 12 years ago.
Ever since the bakery was opened it has gained a lot of attraction from the public and has won many awards.
They recently won the Muddy stilettos award for best Café in London in 2024 and Traveller's choice on TripAdvisor in 2022.
The bakery has also gained a lot of publicity by featuring on national television as well as on Swiss radio.
For example, this is riverside radio and Schweitzer Radio und Fernsehen (Swiss Radio and Television) also known as SRF.
With their outstanding reviews on Trip advisor where they received 5 stars, it is safe to say that the public really appreciate the Swiss bakery and the diversity that the café brings to London.
