After nearly a year of restrictions and ‘stay-at-home’ orders, many of us have spent the newly gained free time kicking back to the latest Netflix movies and dramas. According to the site’s official figures, 15 million new users joined the streaming platform in 2020 alone - as well as numerous hit shows such as ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ and the highly anticipated fourth season of ‘The Crown’.
However, despite an almost limitless sense of options, it’s easy to struggle when deciding what to watch. I was talking to a friend just last week, who complained on how she ‘felt like she had watched everything’. I couldn’t help but agree. Sometimes, I spend longer scrolling through the home page than I actually do watching a show!
If you are anything like me, you may too find it tricky choosing from the thousands of options at the swipe of a button and the click of a controller. It's overwhelming - however, it doesn’t have to be that way.
