A man was filmed smashing a bottle over a stranger’s head after a fight sparked by a dog bite erupted in central Greenwich.
The shocking brawl took place on the Thames Path near the Cutty Sark yesterday evening, as tempers flared after a day of heat.
The confrontation appears to begin when a large dog attacks a smaller leashed dog as it is walked by a woman.
The red-shirted man, who appears to be with the woman, squares up to a bald man in white, who appears to be the larger dog’s owner.
As a heated argument ensues, the bald man’s group gradually begin to surround the pair.
One of the group creeps round from the side, beer can in hand, and throws a poorly executed punch at the man in red.
The man in red reacts by smashing the glass bottle he is holding over the head of his rival, drawing blood.

After breaking from the group, he attempts to back away as they follow, making occasional attacks.
The men eventually surround him, briefly bringing him to the ground, before the video ends.
Police said they are aware of the video, but were not called to the scene.
No arrests have been made.
