Lewisham Council has announced that some of its bin collections are running behind this week.
It said this was due to "Covid related staff absence".
Lewisham Council pleaded with residents to "bear with" if bins are collected a day or two later than usual.
It also said there is no need to report a missed collection.
Lewisham Council apologised for any inconvenience.
On Tuesday, August 24 it said: "Some of our bin collections are running slightly behind this week due to COVID related staff absence.
"Please bear with us if your bins are collected a day or two later than usual.
"There is no need to report a missed collection.
"We apologise for any inconvenience."
