A 29-year-old man has been charged with murdering his father by stabbing him to death in Bromley.
Sean Maurice, 29, of Widmore Road, was charged with murdering 51-year-old Paul Maurice on Wednesday, September 15.
Police were called to Widmore Road at around 10.50pm on Tuesday, September 14, following reports of a stabbing, attending with both ambulance and air ambulance crews.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services at the scene, Paul Maurice was pronounced dead at 11.56pm.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Wednesday gave his cause of death as stab wounds to his chest.
Sean Maurice was arrested after being talked down from a roof on Burnt Ash Lane and tasered at around 3.30am the following morning, September 15.
He is due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on today (September 16).
