A Reading man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a missing person was found in Erith.
A 47-year-old was arrested in Reading yesterday evening, following the discovery on Wednesday (September 15).
A missing person investigation was by Thames Valley Police on August 24, following a report that a person had gone missing from the Reading area.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Police have not specififed where the body was discovered, but said there is currently a crime scene on Hadrians Walk in Reading.
